A Canadian Guide for Hallmark Movies
Get ready to head back to Hope Valley in the new year! Season 12 of When Calls the Heart is set to premiere on Sunday, January 5th and will air exclusively in Canada on Super Channel+ and Super Channel Heart & Home.
In addition to a cast that includes Erin Krakow, Kevin McGarry, Pascale Hutton, Kavan Smith, Chris McNally and Jack Wagner, Season 12 will also see Melissa Gilbert of Little House on the Prairie guest star in two episodes.

Meet Me Next Christmas debuts this week on Wednesday, November 6th and stars Christina Milian, Devale Ellis and Kofi Siriboe. The movie follows the story of hopeless romantic Layla whose search for the man of her dreams means she must find a ticket to a sold-out Pentatonix Christmas concert.
CTV has yet to announce its holiday programming for this year but the CTV Holiday Hub is now available online. Last year’s holiday premieres from CTV Life, as well some movies from previous years, are all streaming free (with ads) from CTV’s website and this includes titles from a variety of US networks such as Hallmark, Great American Family, Lifetime and UPtv. No sign-up or account is necessary to access these free ad-supported movies.
Hallmark Channel’s Countdown to Christmas is already well underway now that it’s November, and even more holiday programming is coming to W Network with the premiere of three brand new series from Hallmark+ this month – the reality competition Finding Mr. Christmas, the holiday mystery series Mistletoe Mysteries, and the limited series Holidazed.
The holiday movie season has already begun but there are two new mysteries coming to Canada! CTV Life has added Aurora Teagarden Mysteries: A Lesson in Murder to its schedule for next weekend and the following weekend, Aurora Teagarden Mysteries: Death at the Diner is set to air. These newest mysteries in the series just debuted on Hallmark+ earlier this month so it’s great to see more Hallmark+ content coming to Canada, especially so soon after premiering in the US.
Super Channel’s Heart and Home Christmas is bringing you lots of cheer this holiday season beginning Friday, November 1st. This year’s lineup on Heart & Home features 21 new movies including 12 Canadian broadcast premieres. The remaining movies in its holiday programming are new to the network but already aired in Canada last year.
