
Get ready to soak up the sunshine this summer with Hallmark Channel’s Summer Nights on W Network. In addition to the three movies in the Providence Falls mini-series, two new original movies are also set to premiere in August: Double Scoop starring Taylor Cole and Ryan McPartlin and Catch of the Day starring Emilie Ullerup and Michael Rady. All five movies premiering in Canada are the same as those featured in Hallmark Channel’s August lineup in the US.
Here is the schedule for what’s airing this August and a movie synopsis from Hallmark:
Providence Falls, based on the books by Jude Deveraux and Tara Sheets, stars Katie Stevens, Lachlan Quarmby and Evan Roderick. The three-part mini-series follows rookie police detective Cora and her new partner Liam, who is her reincarnated love, sent to the present to help her find her true soulmate.

Also coming to W Network in August is Hallmark home renovation series Home is Where the Heart Is hosted by Luke Macfarlane and Olivia Westbrooks. The first of the six-episode series premieres on Sunday, August 3 at 9pm.
In the US, a new Mystery Island and a second season of The Chicken Sisters also debut on Hallmark Channel in August. There has been no word yet on a Canadian premiere date for Season 2 of The Chicken Sisters but do look for W Network to air Mystery Island: Play for Keeps, date TBA.
