As Christmas in July wraps up this weekend, W Network’s latest promos are promising to bring all the holiday cheer and warmth of the season for this year’s upcoming Countdown to Christmas. Based on the promo, it looks like this year’s holiday lineup on W Network will include the new holiday rom-com series Twelve Dates ’til Christmas starring Mae Whitman and the new baking competition series Baked With Love: Holiday hosted by Tamera Mowry-Housely.
Twelve Dates ’til Christmas, a six-episode limited holiday series based on the novel by Jenni Bayliss, also stars Mary McDonnell and Jane Seymour. Set in the small English village of Blexford, it follows textile designer Kate whose best friend signs her up for a holiday matchmaking program. As Kate opens herself up to new dating experiences, she makes a surprising connection and finds herself navigating a growing romance alongside some complicated family dynamics during the holiday season.
In Hallmark’s new baking competition series Baked With Love: Holiday, ten pairs of home bakers will compete in a family-recipe bake-off to win a $50 000 prize. Chef and restauranteur Anna Haugh and New York Times cooking expert Vaughn Vreeland also serve as judges in the series.
Holiday mystery series Mistletoe Murders starring Sarah Drew and Peter Mooney and reality competition series Finding Mr. Christmas also return for a second season on W Network. Look for a new lineup of guest judges – including Janel Parrish, Heather Hemmens, Alison Sweeney, Hunter King, Ashley Williams and Erin Krakow – to help hosts Jonathan Bennett and Melissa Peterman in their search for the next Mr. Christmas.
