It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas now that the lineup for Hallmark’s Countdown to Christmas 2023 and Movies & Mysteries Miracle of Christmas 2023have officially been released! This year the network will feature 42 new holiday movies – 31 on Hallmark Channel, 9 on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries and 2 on Hallmark Movies Now. New movies will premiere every Friday, Saturday and Sunday night beginning Friday, October 20th on Hallmark Channel and premieres from Movies & Mysteries will be on Thursday nights.
CTV Life will be premiering a new Hallmark Channel movie in September that aired in the US but was not part of W Network’s lineup from the summer:
Never Too Late to Celebrate Friday, September 22nd at 8/5pm et/pt Hallmark Channel (2023 Summer Nights) Starring: Alexa PenaVega & Carlos PenaVega Camila is inspired by Spanish teacher Javi to celebrate her 30th birthday in a way that honors her Hispanic heritage.
Hopefully other movies from Hallmark Movies & Mysteries that have yet to air in Canada will also air on CTV Life in the coming weeks and months!
W Network has released the rest of the 2023 Fall Into Love lineup and here is what you can expect to see in the month of October:

Curious Caterer: Fatal Vows Friday, October 13th at 9pm et/pt Hallmark Movies & Mysteries (2023) Starring: Nikki DeLoach & Andrew Walker Goldy and Tom work together again after she discovers a dead groom and missing bride at the wedding she is catering.
Field Day Saturday, October 14th at 8pm et/pt Hallmark Channel (2023 Fall Into Love) Starring: Rachel Boston, Benjamin Ayres, Shannon Chan-Ken & Carmel Amit Jen begins a new journey in her life when she moves back to her late husband’s hometown and joins the school parent teacher committee.
In the US, Hallmark Movies & Mysteries will also air the newest Hannah Swensen Mystery – A Zest for Death in October but unfortunately there is no word on when Canadians might be able to watch this or the previous episode in the series that has yet to air here. Two other Hallmark Movies & Mysteries premieres from September – Haunted Harmony Mysteries: Murder in G Major and Mystery Island – are also missing from October’s lineup on W but hopefully these movies will air in Canada at some point!
Next month, Heart & Home will feature three new romcoms that premiered on Paramount+ Canada. All three movies will be available to stream and on demand from Super Channel beginning October 1st. The network’s lineup for October also includes a new mystery movie that debuted on Fox Nation in the US.

There will also be four older Hallmark movies airing in October that are new to Heart & Home but have already aired in Canada on other networks: A Novel Romance (2015), Be My Valentine (2013), Midnight Masquerade (2014), and Lucky in Love (2014).
W Network has announced its 2023 Fall Into Love lineup will feature 14 brand new movies! All of the movies airing on Hallmark Channel in September and two from Hallmark Movies & Mysteries are included, plus one from UPtv that aired last year, a Tubi Original, and surprisingly an E! original movie. A few E! originals have aired on E! here in Canada this year and they are definitely different than a typical Hallmark movie (think Hallmark with some spice!) so it was interesting to see it added to W’s slate for fall. October’s schedule has not yet been released but based on the previews, it looks like 3 Bed, 2 Bath, 1 Ghost starring Julie Gonzalo & Chris McNally and Field Day starring Rachel Boston & Benjamin Ayres will air next month, likely on the same day as they premiere in the US – October 7th and October 14th. W Network is also airing “new” seasons of When Calls the Heart and Chesapeake Shores in September – new as in new to the network but not the most recent season of either show. Season 7 of When Calls the Heart will air on Sundays starting September 3rd at 8pm et/pt and Season 4 of Chesapeake Shores will follow at 9pm et/pt.
Citytv is finally back to airing new movies at the end of August and into September! Hopefully that means new movies will continue to air on the network throughout the fall again this year! Note that premieres have now moved to Saturday nights and new movies will be listed here as they are added to Citytv’s lineup.
