Two more movies for Hallmark are also reported to be filming soon in BC. New Movies in Production
OCTOBER 15, 2024
It looks like Hallmark fans will be heading back to Evergreen Lane for another Christmas based on the latest edition of Production Weekly which includes Haul Out the Holly 3 on its list of movies in development. This has not been confirmed by Hallmark but according to Heavy, sources say a third movie is indeed on the way, set to film in Utah with Maclain Nelson directing. Read more from Heavy…
Also reportedly for Hallmark are the movies The Last Resort and Lift to Love. According to The Cinemaholic, The Last Resort began filming in September in Victoria, BC and is directed by Jessica Harmon. The movie follows a professional chef returning home to help her sister’s struggling restaurant. Filming for Lift to Love gets underway this month in Vancouver, per Moviedelic, with Michael Robison listed as director. The movie centers around a ride-share driver who, with the help of a passenger, tries to find the owner of a ring left behind on Valentine’s Day.
Finally, it looks like another collection of movies called Hearts of Robin Lane is in the process of being filmed. Production Weekly reveals Hearts of Robin Lane: Jenna’s Story began production back in August and according to Barrie Today, Hearts of Robin Lane: Shari’s Story was filming earlier this month, directed by Marco Defeumia. The most recent Production Weekly includes a third movie Hearts of Robin Lane: Josh on its list of upcoming films. Photos from Barrie Today reveal Kathryn Davis is part of the cast, and the movie title also appears on her Instagram. No confirmation on where this collection of three (or possibly four movies might land), but Marco Defeumia’s most recent IMDb credits are for “The Jane Mysteries” and the latest three installments just debuted on Hallmark+ last month.
