A Canadian Guide for Hallmark Movies
Super Channel Heart & Home is welcoming the new year with an exciting lineup of movies and series! Two new movies Loving Every Minute and Been There All Along make their Canadian television debut this month along with the much anticipated new season of When Calls the Heart which premieres this Sunday January 4 at 8/5pm ET/PT. Heart & Home will also be airing Season 18 of Heartland (from 2024) this month with two back-to-back episodes on Monday evenings.
Exciting news Hearties — we are heading back to Hope Valley in the new year! Hallmark announced Season 13 of When Calls the Heart will premiere Sunday, January 4 and Super Channel Heart & Home has confirmed Season 13 will premiere in Canada at the same time. Fans can also look forward to the return of guest stars Melissa Gilbert and Brooke Shields who will reprise their roles as Georgie McGill and Charlotte Thornton in this newest season of the series.
This month Super Channel Heart & Home will feature four new movies: The Perfect Man(icure), Candid About Love, Love at the Bootcamp and May the Best Wedding Win. These movies have been previously available to stream in Canada from Dove, Roku, Plex or Xumo Play but all four make their TV premiere on Heart and Home in November. Next month, Super Channel’s Heart & Home Christmas will feature 11 new movies premiering on the network on Friday and Saturday nights as well as during the week leading up to Christmas.
Along with the remaining episodes of Crossroad Springs, Heart & Home will feature five movies new to the network in October. A Match for the Prince, Sister Dating Swap, and The Proposal Spot all make their Canadian TV debut (though two of these were previously available to stream) while the remaining two movies scheduled have both already premiered here in Canada – Ainsley McGregor: A Case for the Winemaker on CTV Life last fall and A Perfect Match which aired on W Network in 2021.
Heart & Home welcomes fall with a brand new series and four movies new to the network. Crossroad Springs premieres September 7 and follows siblings James, a pastor in Chicago, and Janet, a doctor in a nearby town, as they return home to help their family’s struggling ranch. Grounded in Love and Sugarcreek Amish Mysteries: Blessings in Disguise also make their Canadian premiere in September while two older movies The Shunning (2011) and The Confession (2013) make their network debut.
Although Super Channel Heart & Home didn’t feature any new premieres for Christmas in July, five new movies are lined up for August! Scheduled to air next month are Beauty and the Billionaire: Bali, Dishing Up Love, Passport to Love, Mr. Right and Love in Focus. The last three movies actually debuted in Canada last year, streaming on Tubi, Plex or SparkTV, but are no longer available on those platforms so catch them all on Heart & Home or Super Channel+ in August!
