A Canadian Guide for Hallmark Movies
CTV still hasn’t announced its holiday lineup for this year but the network’s schedule has two new movies set to air this Saturday: Make or Bake Christmas, a 2024 movie from Lifetime, and A Christmas Murder Mystery, a 2025 UPtv premiere. If you missed last weekend’s premieres, Joy to the World and The Christmas Clues are re-airing this week and both are available on demand from CTV Life and Crave. The Christmas Clues is also still streaming free from ctv.ca with no login required.
The holiday season has apparently begun on CTV Life! New movies have started to premiere though they haven’t shown up on any listings for the network. Last night, Hulu’s Joy to the World starring Emmanuelle Chriqui, Chad Michael Murray and Ayesha Curry premiered and tonight it looks like The Christmas Clues starring Kathyrn Davis and Jonathan Stoddard will air at 8/5pm ET/PT. According to a press release from Bell, both of these movies are available to stream next day from Crave.
Get ready, Sleuthers: Haunted Harmony Mysteries: Buried at C is coming to Canada! This latest mystery from Hallmark is now set to premiere on CTV Life this Saturday at 8/5pm ET/PT and streams next day on Crave. It looks like it was just added recently to the network’s schedule as previously, a Hannah Swensen marathon was slated to air all day. Starring Tamera Mowry-Housley, Risteard Cooper and Marco Grazzini, this second installment of the series finds Gethsemane and her ghost partner Eamon investigating the mysterious death of a sea captain.
Get ready, Sleuthers: The latest installment of the Hannah Swensen Mysteries is on its way to Canada! Pie to Die For: A Hannah Swensen Mystery is now scheduled to air on CTV Life on Saturday, June 28 at 8/5pm ET/PT, a week after its US premiere. Tune in then to find out what happens when Delores becomes a person of interest after her theatre rival is found murdered. Starring Alison Sweeney, Victor Webster and Barbara Niven.
Listings officially confirm that To Barcelona, Forever will indeed be airing in Canada on CTV Life, one week after the premiere of To Barcelona, With Love. Look for this second movie in the two-part series from Hallmark Channel to premiere here on Saturday, July 21 at 8/5pm ET/PT. It will also be available to stream next day on Crave. In this movie, Anna travels back to Barcelona to celebrate Erica and Nico’s engagement and finds herself accidentally engaged to help a farmer save his family’s legacy.

Hallmark Channel’s To Barcelona, with Love didn’t make W’s Passport to Love lineup but CTV Life is set to premiere the movie Saturday June 14 at 8/5pm ET/PT. Starring Alison Sweeney and Ashley Williams, it follows American translator Erica who secretly revises a novel set in Barcelona. Complications arise however, when bookstore owner Nico invites Anna, the credited author, for a book signing. This is the first of a two-part movie project so hopefully the second will premiere the following weekend. Stay tuned for an update once CTV releases the rest of its June schedule.
