A Canadian Guide for Hallmark Movies
Christmas at Sea sets sail on Hallmark Channel on Monday but unfortunately, here in Canada, we will have to wait to watch. According to a press release from Corus, the four-part docuseries will air later this year as part of W Network’s upcoming holiday slate. This was mentioned in a previous post but I just wanted to share again for anyone who might have missed it. It’s a long wait but at least we know it’s coming to Canada!
Get ready to celebrate a merry month ahead! Hallmark Channel’s Christmas in July on W Network begins Saturday, July 5 and features the Unwrapping Christmas collection of movies. These premiered last year on Hallmark+ but will be making their Canadian premiere this July. The four-part series follows friends – Tina, Mia, Lily and Olivia – who work together at the shop “All Wrapped Up”, and as the holidays approach, each finds herself unwrapping her own holiday romance.
Network has released all the details for this year’s Christmas in July lineup. As previously noted, it begins Friday, July 5th and will feature back-to-back holiday movies every weekend including seven “all new premieres”. All three brand new 2024 Hallmark premires for July will be included, as well as “Rescuing Christmas” which premiered on Hallmark Movies Now last year but did not air in Canada. Filling the rest of W’s July schedule are previous holiday movies from other networks that are making their TV debut here in Canada, with the exception of “Ladies of the ’80s: A Divas Christmas” which is new to W but premiered last year on Lifetime Canada.

Unfortunately W has not yet released a full schedule for Christmas in July but the previous post “Coming Soon: W Network’s Christmas in July” is updated to include all the premieres known so far based on listings. Hopefully a complete lineup will be announced soon!

The movies listed below, all from Reel One Entertainment and a few starring some Hallmark regulars, were released last holiday season in the US or abroad and are now available to stream in Canada. *Also included are a few titles that just aired and are scheduled again in July.

Starting on the evening of July 5th, viewers can expect to see back-to-back holiday movies every weekend and according to the promo, seven “all new premieres” will be featured! Only three brand new movies are set to premiere in the US (between Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movies Now) so it will be interesting to see what other movies complete W’s lineup this year.
