A Canadian Guide for Hallmark Movies
This year’s lineup for It’s a Wonderful Lifetime has been announced! Beginning Saturday, November 29, Lifetime is bringing the holiday cheer with 12 brand new movies premiering in the US on Friday and Saturday nights. So far, two of these movies, A Christmas Cookbook and Rodeo Christmas Romance, are scheduled to premiere in Canada as part of W Network’s Countdown to Christmas. The most wonderful time of the year is almost here! W Network has just released its schedule for this year’s Countdown to Christmas which features 28 new movies and six series beginning Friday, October 17! See all the details below!
As expected, the lineup here looks a bit different. In addition to some different dates, we have three movies included that are not part of Hallmark Channel’s slate (Rodeo Christmas Romance, The Christmas Cookbook, A Christmas Flame) and are missing two movies airing in the US (We Met in December, The Christmas Baby) so stay tuned for news of where and when those titles might air in Canada!
Along with the remaining episodes of Crossroad Springs, Heart & Home will feature five movies new to the network in October. A Match for the Prince, Sister Dating Swap, and The Proposal Spot all make their Canadian TV debut (though two of these were previously available to stream) while the remaining two movies scheduled have both already premiered here in Canada – Ainsley McGregor: A Case for the Winemaker on CTV Life last fall and A Perfect Match which aired on W Network in 2021.

Get ready to cozy up to an all new lineup of movies for Hallmark Channel’s Fall Into Love on W Network starting Saturday, September 6. All six fall premieres on Hallmark Channel are slated to air here in Canada beginning with The Groomsmen Trilogy followed by Adventures in Love & Birding, Home Turf and Haul Out the Halloween. Also look for a new installment of Mystery Island coming in September as well as the premiere of Hallmark’s unscripted series Celebrations With Lacy Chabert.
Heart & Home welcomes fall with a brand new series and four movies new to the network. Crossroad Springs premieres September 7 and follows siblings James, a pastor in Chicago, and Janet, a doctor in a nearby town, as they return home to help their family’s struggling ranch. Grounded in Love and Sugarcreek Amish Mysteries: Blessings in Disguise also make their Canadian premiere in September while two older movies The Shunning (2011) and The Confession (2013) make their network debut.
