New on Tubi:
Tubi releases quite a few original movies each year but this particular title added late last year is from Reel One Entertainment’s catalogue and is currently streaming free:

In the US, Plex added many new romcoms from Reel One Entertainment into its streaming catalogue near the end of last year. Unfortunately, most of them are not available to stream in Canada yet and have been added to the Waitlist of movies that will hopefully air here.

Unfortunately those connected to a Roku device in Canada do not have access to all the same channels and movies as those in the US. Though the content in Canada is much more limited, one title currently available on the Roku Channel that has yet to air on cable tv in Canada is:

Other recent titles on SparkTV that are still in rotation on Live TV on the channel are My One True Love (2022) and Quest for Love (2022). A lot of what’s available through Roku and its channel offerings seem to be older movies or those that already aired in Canada but SparkTV seems like it will continue to offer new content in the coming year. Until these new releases get added to the network’s on-demand library though, the major drawback, will continue to be having to watch live at the scheduled times.

XUMO Play is available in Canada through several brands of smart TVs and much like everything else, the selection of content is much more limited than in the US, but there are a few recent movies on-demand there that have not yet aired on cable tv in Canada:

Most of the romcoms available on demand from Pluto TV are older movies, but the streaming service does have a Romance 365 channel that airs newer Hallmark movies. Pluto TV also now has two 365 Christmas channels for anyone who enjoys holiday movies all year long.
